The success of the SHINE online pupil mental health survey in the academic session 2021-2022 saw over 230 SHINE schools use the survey resulting in nearly 19,000 completed responses from young people across Scotland.

The SHINE team took time over the summer to review the first year of the mental health survey in order to develop it further, having taken onboard feedback from both schools and researchers. The survey will be relaunched later in September with a new suite of documents and videos to support the administration of the survey in schools. School members will notice that all previous documentation has been removed from the individual school folders and the survey is currently offline while the upgrades to the system are carried out.

The Network Manager will notify all schools in the network once the survey is ready to be relaunched and will provide all the necessary links to the refreshed suite of administration documents and videos.
